About Nembrotha milleri Gosliner & Behrens, 1997
Nembrotha milleri is a species of nudibranch formally described by Gosliner & Behrens in 1997. Adults of this species can grow to at least 60 millimeters in total length. The typical body coloration ranges from grey-green to dark green, marked with blackish longitudinal wrinkles that run along the full length of the body. A distinct color form with a pale yellowish green background has been documented near Taiwan. The rhinophores and gills of this species are most commonly black. This species is distributed across the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean. In East Africa, an undescribed nudibranch referred to as Nembrotha sp. 14 may actually be a color or geographic form of Nembrotha milleri. In terms of ecology, Nembrotha milleri feeds on ascidians, which are also called tunicates, and has specifically been observed feeding on the green-ringed ascidian Sigillina signifera.
