About Nelima doriae (Canestrini, 1872)

For Nelima doriae (Canestrini, 1872), adult females reach an approximate body length of 4 millimetres (0.16 in). The upper body is dark yellowish and marked with round golden specks; these specks are more distinct along the body midline. A golden transverse band appears on the fourth last abdominal segment. The palps and jaws are yellow, while the legs are yellowish with white joints. This species is native to Southern Europe, and has been introduced to and is now present in Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand.
