About Negeta contrariata Walker, 1862

This species, Negeta contrariata Walker, 1862, has a wingspan of approximately 26 millimeters. Female individuals are colored ochreous brown. On the forewings, faint traces of a sinuous antemedial line are present. A creamy-white triangular patch is located on the costa just before the apex. An oblique line made up of rufous and ochreous tones runs from the apex to the center of the inner margin. There is also an indistinct, lunulate fuscous sub-marginal line on the forewings. The hindwings are fuscous, and their cilia are ochreous. On the ventral surface, there is a narrow curved medial fuscous band, along with faint traces of a submarginal band.
