The Tacazze sunbird, scientifically named Nectarinia tacazze, is a bird species belonging to the family Nectariniidae. It is native to eastern Afromontane forests. This species gets its name from the Tacazze (also called Tekezé) River, and it can be easily observed in nearby districts including Degua Tembien in northern Ethiopia. It lives in evergreen forests, mountain woodlands, and areas with scattered trees, which include Ficus species, Euphorbia abyssinica, and Juniperus procera.
