Natada nasoni, commonly called Nason's slug or Nason's slug moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Limacodidae. In the United States, this species ranges from Missouri east to the Atlantic coast, and extends south to the Gulf of Mexico. The larvae of Natada nasoni feed on a variety of smooth-leaved woody plants; recorded host plants include beech, hickory, and hornbeam. These larvae bear stinging spines.
