About Narthecophora pulverea Smith, 1900

Narthecophora is a monotypic moth genus that belongs to the family Noctuidae. Its only recognized species is Narthecophora pulverea, which is distributed in Sonoran Desert regions of Arizona, a U.S. state, and Sonora, a Mexican state. Both the genus Narthecophora and the species Narthecophora pulverea were first described by John Bernhardt Smith in 1900. The caterpillar life stage of Narthecophora pulverea has not been documented.
