About Narcissus minor L.
Narcissus minor L. is a bulbous perennial plant. It produces stems that grow between 8 and 25 cm (3.1 to 9.8 inches) tall. It bears a single yellow flower per stem, with flowers measuring 25 to 40 mm (0.98 to 1.57 inches) in length. This species closely resembles Narcissus asturiensis, but can be distinguished by its larger stems. It is native to the Pyrenees mountain range, northern Spain, and northern France, where it grows in alpine habitats including mountain meadows and scrubland. It has also been introduced to other parts of Europe, and has successfully become naturalized in Austria.
