About Narcissus dubius Gouan

Narcissus dubius Gouan is a bulbous plant species with entirely white petals and white trumpet. Each umbel it produces can hold up to six individual flowers. Genetic studies suggest it may be a natural hybrid between Narcissus assoanus and Narcissus papyraceus. It grows naturally across Spain and France. It is often confused with the closely related Narcissus tazetta, which can be distinguished by its yellow trumpet. It can also be mistaken for Narcissus papyraceus, which shares a similar appearance but reaches twice the size of Narcissus dubius.
