Myrciaria glazioviana is a species of tree or shrub that reaches 4 to 7 metres in height, with leaves that grow 7 to 11 centimetres long. It produces spherical, yellow, fuzzy edible fruits that contain either one or two seeds. This plant is endemic to the Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais states of south-eastern Brazil, and has also been recorded growing in Pernambuco and Bahia in north-eastern Brazil.
