About Mycena rosella (Fr.) P.Kumm.

Mycena rosella, commonly known as the pink bonnet, is a mushroom species that belongs to the family Mycenaceae. In 1794, Swedish mycologist Elias Magnus Fries first described this species under the name Agaricus roseus. In 1871, German scientist Paul Kummer reclassified it to its current accepted scientific name, Mycena rosella (Fr.) P.Kumm. For its microscopic characteristics, the spores of Mycena rosella are amyloid, and measure 7โ€“9 by 4โ€“5 micrometers.
