About Morpho deidamia (Hübner, 1816)

For Morpho deidamia, males have a brilliant steel blue color on the basal portion of their wing upper surfaces, and both wings have a delicate light blue in their distal areas. In females, the proximal region is darkened and broadly black, though it does display strong metallic reflection. The forewing of this species features three white median dots, and the light blue color is limited to a relatively narrow median area.
