Monacha cantiana, commonly called the Kentish snail or the Kentish garden snail, is a medium-sized species of air-breathing land snail. It is classified as a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk, and belongs to the family Hygromiidae, the group that includes hairy snails and their close relatives. This species has been recorded living in multiple European countries and islands: Great Britain (specifically England), France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Czech Republic, where it has been non-indigenous in Bohemia since 2009. It also occurs in Africa, specifically in Egypt. In this species, the diameter of eggs is 1.8 mm.
