About Mitrasacme polymorpha R.Br.
Mitrasacme polymorpha R.Br. is a common perennial herb native to eastern and southern Australia. It is most frequently found near the coast in heathland habitats growing on sandy soils, though it also occurs at higher altitudes. This plant reaches a maximum height of 15 cm. Its leaves measure 4 to 15 mm long and 1 to 6 mm wide. Four-petaled white flowers grow in umbels at the ends of hairy branches, blooming from spring through summer. The fruiting capsule it produces has a diameter of 2 to 3 mm.
