About Miresa clarissa (Stoll, 1790)

Miresa clarissa is a moth species belonging to the genus Miresa. It was first formally described by Caspar Stoll in 1790. At the time of its original description, the species was recorded to occur in Dutch Guiana, which is the former name of Suriname, and Brazil. More recent observations of the species indicate its range extends beyond the Amazon basin, and reaches as far north as Honduras.
