About Mirabilis longiflora L.
Mirabilis longiflora L. is a tender herbaceous perennial species. It can grow up to 150 cm (5 feet) tall, with upright, thin stems that branch densely from its base. Its leaves are petiolate, measure between 6 and 11.5 cm long and 3 to 7 cm wide, have an ovate or lanceo-ovate shape, and are bright green in color. This species is native to southwestern United States, ranging from Arizona to Texas, and northern Mexico. It grows in scrubby canyons and on riverbanks.
