Miomantis paykullii Stal, 1871 is a species of praying mantis that belongs to the family Miomantidae. Along with Miomantis abyssinica, it is one of several species that are sometimes referred to as the Egyptian praying mantis. This species occurs across multiple African countries: Egypt, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda, Senegal, and Togo. It is also found in Israel, which is located in the Middle East. Adult individuals of this species reach a size of 3.5 to 4.5 cm.
