Milionia basalis is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1854. This species can be found in Japan, the north-eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, and Sundaland. Its wingspan measures between 50 and 56 mm. The larvae of Milionia basalis feed on plant species from the genera Dacrydium and Podocarpus. Adult moths of this species are active during the day, and they feed on nectar from the flowers of Leptospermum flavescens in the mountains of Peninsular Malaysia.
