Microschizaea fistulosa (Labill.) C.F.Reed, also known by the synonym Schizaea fistulosa and the common name narrow comb fern, is a small, low-growing fern. It reaches 4 to 30 cm tall when growing in moist locations. It can be found in a variety of habitats. The specific epithet fistulosa means "tube-shaped". This fern is widespread but fairly uncommon in southern Australia, and also occurs in New Zealand, Chile, and New Caledonia. It was first described scientifically in 1807 by French botanist Jacques Labillardière, from a specimen collected in Tasmania. The description was published in the work Novae Hollandiae Plantarum Specimen.
