About Microeca flaviventris (Sharpe, 1903)
Microeca flaviventris, commonly known as the yellow-bellied robin, is a medium-sized Australasian robin. It measures 14–15 cm (5.5–5.9 in) in length and weighs approximately 12 g (0.42 oz). Its plumage matches the pattern seen in members of the genus Eopsaltria: it has a dark olive-grey back, tail, and wings, a grey head and chest with a slightly lighter throat, and a yellow belly and rump. Its legs are grey. This species was first described by Sharpe in 1903.
