About Micranthes integrifolia (Hook.) Small
Micranthes integrifolia (Hook.) Small, a species of flowering plant, has the common name wholeleaf saxifrage. It is native to western North America, ranging from British Columbia to Montana and northern California. It grows in moist habitats, including meadows, prairies, and grassy mountain slopes. It is a perennial herb that grows from a caudex and a system of rhizomes, and produces a basal rosette of leaves. Each leaf can reach up to 7 centimeters long, with a toothed or smooth-edged blade carried on a short petiole. The inflorescence emerges from a stout, hairy peduncle that grows up to 35 centimeters tall. Flowers with white petals grow in a cluster or dense arrangement at the top of the peduncle.
