About Micranthes californica (Greene) Small

Micranthes californica is a perennial herb. It grows a small gray-green basal rosette of thick, toothed oval leaves, which can reach up to 10 centimeters in length. Its inflorescence emerges from a peduncle that grows up to 35 centimeters tall. This peduncle holds clusters of flowers, which may all be arranged along one side. Each individual flower has five green to reddish sepals, five small white petals, and ten stamens located at its center.
