About Miamira sinuata (van Hasselt, 1824)

Miamira sinuata has a mottled overall appearance, with reticulation ranging in color from bright green to purplish brown. Its entire body is covered in low, rounded yellow tubercles, and most individuals have a small number of aquamarine spots positioned along the sides of the mantle. The gills and rhinophores are translucent greenish or brownish, with scattered white spots. The front of the mantle features one central lobe and two lateral lobes. This species has been recorded in the central Indo-Pacific, with known locations including the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, and eastern Australia. Miamira sinuata is very variable in color, and it remains uncertain whether Miamira flavicostata and Miamira magnifica are actually separate distinct species.
