About Mexichromis pusilla (Bergh, 1874)

Mexichromis pusilla, a species of nudibranch, has a pink-orange body, pink-orange gills, and pink-orange rhinophores. Its mantle is bordered by a broad pale yellow band, and it has two white spots on its dorsum. This species is easily mistaken for other similarly colored nudibranchs, particularly Verconia varians and Verconia norba. It can grow to a total length of at least 20 mm. Like all chromodorids, Mexichromis pusilla feeds on sponges. This nudibranch occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean.
