Mentzelia oligosperma, commonly called stickleaf or chickenthief, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the Loasaceae family. It is native to warmer regions of the west-central and central United States. It is a perennial plant that grows up to 50 cm (20 inches) tall, and produces yellow to orange flowers that open in the morning and close by early afternoon.
