Mentzelia nuda (Pursh) Torr. & A.Gray, commonly called the bractless blazingstar, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the Loasaceae family. It is native to the plains of the United States that lie east of the Rocky Mountains and west of the Mississippi River, and it has been introduced to the state of Illinois. This perennial plant grows to a height of up to 90 cm (3 ft) and produces cream-colored flowers.
