Megalobulimus oblongus (O.F.Müller, 1774), also previously called Strophocheilus oblongus, is a species of air-breathing land snail. It is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Strophocheilidae. This species is also commonly known as "Guácara" in the regions where it occurs, and its distribution includes Brazil, Venezuela, Barbados, other locations in the Lesser Antilles, Uruguay, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago.
