Medicago marina L. is a plant species in the genus Medicago. It is native to the Mediterranean basin, but can now be found growing around the world. This species forms a symbiotic relationship with Sinorhizobium meliloti, a bacterium that is able to fix nitrogen. Its common names are coastal medick and sea medick.
