About Marmara fraxinicola Braun, 1922

Marmara fraxinicola is a moth species belonging to the family Gracillariidae. This species has been recorded in Québec, Canada, as well as in the U.S. states of Ohio, Vermont, and New York. It produces one new generation per year. The larvae of Marmara fraxinicola feed on two host tree species: Fraxinus americana and Fraxinus pennsylvanica. Larvae develop by mining inside the stems of their host plants.
