Marasmius siccus (Schwein.) Fr. is a small orange mushroom. It has an umbrella-shaped cap 0.5โ€“2.5 centimetres (1โ„4โ€“1 in) wide, and its gills are whitish. Its tough, shiny, bare stem is pale at the top and reddish brown below, growing 3โ€“7 cm (1+1โ„4โ€“2+3โ„4 in) tall. This species grows in hardwood forests. It occurs across northern Europe and Asia, and in North America, it can be found between July and September, ranging from the Rocky Mountains to the Appalachian Mountains.
