Marasmius crinis-equi F.Muell. ex Kalchbr. is a plant pathogen, commonly called the 'horse hair fungus'. It grows on rainforest leaves, producing a wiry stipe with a delicate fruitbody. The cap of its fruitbody is pale brown and can reach up to 4 millimeters in diameter.
