Mampava rhodoneura, commonly known as the buffel grass seed caterpillar, is a species of snout moth in the genus Mampava. This species was first described by Turner in 1905, and it is currently known to occur in Queensland, Australia. The larvae of Mampava rhodoneura feed on the seeds of Cenchrus pennisetiformis, and they web together the flower heads of their host plant.
