About Macrozamia moorei F.Muell.

Macrozamia moorei F.Muell. is the tallest growing species in the genus Macrozamia. It can reach a height of 7 metres (23 feet), with a trunk between 50 and 80 centimetres in diameter. This species produces keeled leaves that grow up to 2.5 metres (8.2 feet) long. The leaves have short petioles that bear numerous spines, and hold between 120 and 220 leaflets. Each individual leaflet is 20–35 cm long and 5–10 mm broad. This cycad is grown as an ornamental plant by specialty plant nurseries.
