Macropharyngodon geoffroy, commonly called Geoffroy's wrasse, is a member of the wrasse family that is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. This species occasionally enters the aquarium trade, and reaches a maximum length of 13 cm (5.1 in). It is a benthopelagic species that inhabits seaward reefs with areas of mixed sand, rubble, and coral. It feeds mostly on molluscs, especially prosobranch gastropods, and foraminiferans. Macropharyngodon geoffroy is the type species of the genus Macropharyngodon.
