Macrocilix mysticata is a moth species that belongs to the family Drepanidae. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1862, with the original description erroneously citing the year as 1863. This species occurs in India, Myanmar, Taiwan, Japan, and China. It has a wingspan measuring 31 to 38 millimetres. Adult Macrocilix mysticata are active on the wing during March and August. The larvae of this species feed on the leaves of Castanopsis formosana and Pasania konishii.
