Maclura cochinchinensis (Lour.) Corner is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the family Moraceae. It grows as a vine or a scrambling shrub, and it is commonly known by the common name cockspur thorn. Its native geographic range stretches from China, through Malesia, and into Queensland and northern New South Wales. This species can live in multiple different types of tropical forest, and it occurs most commonly in monsoon forests. It produces globular fruit that are yellow or orange in color; these fruit are sweet and edible, and they were used as a traditional food source by Aboriginal Australians.
