Macledium zeyheri (Sond.) S.Ortiz is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Asteraceae. It occurs across Southern Africa, with a distribution that extends from the Cape Provinces, KwaZulu-Natal, and Northern Provinces of South Africa, into Eswatini and Mozambique. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and plantations, and it grows particularly along the KwaZulu-Natal coast. The powdered roots of this plant are traditionally recognized for medicinal properties, and are used to treat stomach disorders in both humans and livestock.
