About Lycopodiastrum casuarinoides (Spring) Holub ex R.D.Dixit

Lycopodiastrum is a lycophyte genus in the family Lycopodiaceae, containing just one species: Lycopodiastrum casuarinoides. The 2016 Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification (PPG I) places this genus in the subfamily Lycopodioideae. Some taxonomic sources do not recognize Lycopodiastrum as a separate genus, and sink it into the genus Lycopodium instead. Lycopodiastrum casuarinoides is native to south-eastern Asia. Its native distribution ranges north from Tibet through China to Japan, and south from Sumatra to Sulawesi.
