Luquetia lobella (first described by Denis & Schiffermüller in 1775) is a moth species that belongs to the family Depressariidae. This species is present across most of Europe, but is not found in Ireland, the Iberian Peninsula, Finland, Estonia, and most of the Balkan Peninsula. The wingspan of adult Luquetia lobella ranges from 23 to 26 millimeters. Adult moths are active in June. The larvae of this moth feed on blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), hawthorn species of the genus Crataegus, and species of the genus Sorbus.
