About Lupinus cumulicola Small

Lupinus cumulicola Small, commonly known as sky-blue lupine, is a species of flowering plant. It is endemic to the Lake Wales Ridge, located in the U.S. state of Florida. This plant is native to the sandy, fire-dependent habitats of the Lake Wales Ridge, most commonly longleaf pine sandhill and scrub. It can also persist in degraded habitats, including rangeland and roadsides, as long as disturbance frequency is not too high.
