Lucanus maculifemoratus Motschulsky, 1861 is a species of beetle belonging to the family Lucanidae. In Japan, this species is commonly called the Miyama stag beetle, or alternatively the deep mountain stag beetle. The backs of these beetles have a light covering of golden hair, with the highest concentration of this hair along the rear edges. This species is found in northeastern Asia, with recorded occurrences in Japan, Korea, China, Russia, and Taiwan.
