About Lonicera pyrenaica L.

Lonicera pyrenaica, commonly known as Pyrenean honeysuckle, is a species of honeysuckle. It is native to the eastern Pyrenees of France and Spain, the Balearic Islands, and Morocco. It is widely cultivated for use as a garden plant. Two subspecies of Lonicera pyrenaica are currently accepted. These are Lonicera pyrenaica subsp. majoricensis (Gand.) Gand., which is found in the Balearic Islands, and Lonicera pyrenaica subsp. pyrenaica, which is found in the eastern Pyrenees of France and Spain, and in Morocco.
