Lobelia gibbosa, commonly called tall lobelia, is a small herbaceous species in the Campanulaceae family that is native to Australia. It is an annual herb with an erect, slender growth habit. It usually reaches a height of 0.1 to 0.5 metres, which is equal to 0.3 to 1.6 feet. It flowers between November and March, and produces blue blooms. In Western Australia, this species grows in sandy-loam soils, and can be found in the Wheatbelt, Mid West, South West, Great Southern, and Goldfields-Esperance regions. It occurs on dunes, hills, and clay pans, and also grows among granite outcrops.
