Vaillant's frog, scientifically named Lithobates vaillanti, is a species of true frog in the family Ranidae that is found in Central America. Its natural habitats include subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, rivers, permanent and intermittent freshwater lakes, permanent and intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forests, man-made water storage areas, ponds, and canals and ditches.
