Liolaemus tenuis (Duméril & Bibron, 1839), commonly called the jewel lizard, is a species of lizard belonging to the family Liolaemidae. It has several other common names: thin tree iguana, slender lizard, and thin lizard. This species is endemic to Chile. It is a relatively small lizard, with a snout–vent length of 5.5 cm. It has diurnal activity habits, and feeds mainly on insects. It is sometimes kept as a pet.
