About Limax dacampi Menegazzi, 1855

Limax dacampi reaches an adult length of approximately 20 centimeters (7.9 inches). Its body is reddish, marked with either two dark bands running along the sides or dark spots on the back that do not extend onto the mantle. The head and tentacles are grayish, and the foot sole is a light color. This species is confirmed to live on the northern Italian mainland and in southern Switzerland. It can be found in a wide range of habitat types, and prefers moist, shady forests and bushland.
