Lilium pomponium, commonly known as the turban lily, is a European lily species native to France, Spain, and Italy. Two taxa that were formerly included within this species have since been reclassified: what was previously named Lilium pomponium var. carniolicum is now recognized as the separate species Lilium carniolicum, and what was previously named Lilium pomponium subsp. pyrenaicum is now recognized as the separate species Lilium pyrenaicum.
