Leucospilapteryx venustella is a moth species that belongs to the family Gracillariidae. This species has been recorded in Canada, specifically the province of Québec, and multiple regions across the United States, including the Atlantic states, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maryland and Kentucky. The wingspan of adult Leucospilapteryx venustella measures approximately 6 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on three plant species: Ageratina ageratoides, Ageratina altissima and Eupatorium urticifolium. Larvae create mines within the leaves of their host plants as they feed.
