Leuconycta diphteroides, commonly called the green leuconycta moth or green owlet, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Achille Guenée in 1852. Its distribution spans North America, ranging from Nova Scotia to Florida, extending west to Texas and north to Saskatchewan. The wingspan of adult moths measures 27 to 32 mm. Adults are active and can be found in flight from May through September each year. The larvae of this species feed on plants from the Solidago and Aster genera.
