Leucaena diversifolia, commonly called wild tamarind or red leucaena, is a flowering plant species in the Fabaceae family. It is native to Mexico and Guatemala. It has been introduced to many tropical and subtropical regions across the globe to be used as cattle fodder. Leucaena diversifolia and its hybrid with Leucaena leucocephala are just as aggressively invasive as Leucaena leucocephala itself.
