About Leptomeria aphylla R.Br.

Leptomeria aphylla, which is commonly called the leafless currant-bush, is a shrub native to south-eastern Australia. This species was formally described in 1810 by botanist Robert Brown, in the publication Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae. The formal description was based on plant material that had been collected at Memory Cove, located in South Australia. Indigenous Australians ate the small acidic fruits produced by this shrub.
